Between these rural rituals, they found time to comfort a panicked driver on Highway 75’s shoulder, who declined transport but needed those quiet moments of reassurance.
As Friday’s sun rose over school patrols and slow highway traffic, a more troubling case emerged: a woman reporting persistent harassment, learning her options for protection orders. Evening brought coyote hunters’ explanations of gunfire near CR P9, and Cody Soukup’s second DUI charge marking the day’s end.
