Robert “Bob” Lynn Williby, age 77 of Blair, passed away November 18, 2024, at Nebraska Medicine in Omaha. Private graveside services will be held in Blair Cemetery. Bob will be laid to rest next to his wife Ronda, along with his son Robert “Bobby.”
Bob was born October 6, 1947, in Blair, Nebraska, the son of Lyle and Daisy Williby. He was a lifelong resident of Blair and a graduate of Blair High School. Bob served in the United States Army from 1969 to 1971 and was a Vietnam Veteran. On November 30, 1973, he was united in marriage to Ronda McQuinn, and the couple made their home in Blair. Bob was a longtime employee of Road Builders.
Bob is survived by his sons Michael (Lisa) Williby and Jason (Colleen) Williby; brother Kent (Roseanne) Williby; sister-in-law Patricia Williby; grandson Jeremiah (Sam) Williby; along with several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife Ronda, son Robert “Bobby”, brother Gary Williby, infant brother Galen Williby, and granddaughter Ashley.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to a local veteran’s charity.
