Monday, January 13 – Deputies conducted business checks in Arlington at 2:53 AM (14 checks) and Fort Calhoun at 3:43 AM (13 checks). At 9:35 AM, deputies responded to 2800 Whispering Oaks Lane for a possible mail theft report. At 10:16 AM on Highway 133, deputies assisted Nebraska State Patrol with a DUS arrest. At 5:11 PM, deputies responded to 1300 County Road 33 regarding a male party unconscious in a ditch. Blair Fire Department responded, but the individual refused treatment. Deputies found no signs of impairment or accident.

Tuesday, January 14 – At 2:57 AM, deputies arrested Leticia Chacon (11-24-73) for driving under suspension at Highway 30 and Holly St. At 1:29 PM, Carol Christensen (3/23/59) was arrested for DUS and an active Sarpy County warrant. At 5:59 PM, deputies assisted Blair PD with a traffic stop involving a pickup towing another pickup without trailer lights. The trailered pickup was confirmed stolen from Omaha, and a search uncovered paraphernalia and meth residue. Three individuals were taken into custody, with deputies transporting one to jail for BPD. At 7:13 PM, Soren Hawke (08-28-95) was arrested for DUS in Fort Calhoun.

Wednesday, January 15 – At 7:17 AM, deputies tagged an abandoned silver Hyundai on County Road 34. At 2:28 PM, deputies investigated a welfare concern about cattle at 14000 Highway 75; the animals were found to be healthy and grass-fed with plenty of food and water. At 3:16 PM, Jaymes Meyers was arrested at the Probation Office for an active Washington County warrant.

Thursday, January 16 – At 10:47 AM, deputies arrested Jordy Ruiz (10/8/99) for DUS near Highway 75 and Paulsen Lane. At 2:26 PM, deputies responded to the Probation Office where a client was making comments about self-harm and harming others. After speaking with the individual, deputies determined they needed to vent and were not suicidal or having thoughts of harming others. At 6:00 PM, deputies assisted an elderly driver with vision issues who was failing to maintain their lane and driving extremely slow. Deputies contacted the driver’s brother in Omaha to provide transportation.

Friday, January 17 – At 12:46 AM, deputies assisted Blair Police Department and rescue with a patient. At 2:54 AM, deputies assisted Blair Volunteer Fire Department.
