Sue Neff-Richards, 73, of Blair, Nebraska, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2025, at Pacific Springs Immanuel in Omaha.
Mrs. Neff-Richards was born April 16, 1951, in Kansas City, Kansas, to William and Carolee Alexander. She graduated from Norfolk High School and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. She began her career at Woodman of the World in Omaha, where she worked until her retirement in 2013.
In 1985, she married Jeff Richards, who preceded her in death. The couple shared a love of golf and traveled to courses throughout the country. She cherished spending time with her daughter and granddaughter in San Francisco and was known for her love of shopping and impeccable taste. She will be remembered as a strong, independent woman.
Survivors include her daughter, Heather Dennis (John) and granddaughter Devan Dennis of San Francisco; brother Bill Alexander and nephew Billy Alexander of Chicago; and numerous extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, January 9, at Pacific Springs Retirement Community, 805 S. 173rd Court, with a cake and coffee reception following. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 10, at Campbell Aman Funeral Home, with visitation at 9:00 AM and service at 11:00 AM, followed by burial in Blair Cemetery.
