SNOW EMERGENCY

Mayor Mindy Rump has issued a Snow Emergency for the City of Blair effective 06:00 PM Tuesday March 4th, 2025 until Wednesday March 5th, 2025 at 12:00 PM. This declaration comes in response to the anticipated severe winter weather conditions, including heavy snowfall and wind gusts reaching 60 to 80 MPH, which are expected to create whiteout conditions and significant snow drifting.

During a snow emergency declaration, the Blair Municipal Code prohibits vehicles from being parked on all City Streets unless the snow has been cleared from said street, alley or parking area and the snow has ceased to fall for a minimum period of eight (8) hours. On-street parking will be allowed either after the previous parameters have been met or once the Snow Emergency has ended. Residents are cautioned that any vehicle left parked in violation of this declaration may be removed by the Chief of Police or his designee and towed to the City Impound Lot.

THE ONLY AREA EXEMPTED IS THE DOWNTOWN AREA WHICH IS GOVERNED BY
NO PARKING FROM 02:00 AM TO 05:00 AM.
