Friday, January 31, 2025
The week began at 1:57 AM with deputies conducting 16 business checks in Fort Calhoun. At 06:27, deputies responded to multiple 911 calls at 4200 County Road P40, where they discovered an enthusiastic young admirer of law enforcement. Deputies took the time to speak with both the child and mother, turning what could have been a nuisance call into a positive community interaction. The day ended at 21:26 with a serious domestic disturbance call that resulted in multiple felony charges.

Saturday, February 1, 2025
Deputies conducted business checks in Arlington (16) and Fort Calhoun (16) during early morning hours. At 12:49 PM, Fort Calhoun Rescue handled a call at 2300 County Road 45. At 12:52, a traffic stop at Highway 75 and Cook Drive led to a warrant arrest. Late that night at 22:34, deputies encountered a group of high school students attempting the “milk mile challenge” who found themselves stuck in a ditch along County Road 16. Deputies ensured no damage occurred and the teenagers were safely handled.

Sunday, February 2, 2025
A 02:03 traffic stop on South Highway 30 and Kellie Drive resulted in a DUI arrest. Deputies conducted business checks in Arlington (12) and Fort Calhoun (15). Throughout the day, deputies assisted with several rescue calls, including a standby at 4500 Dam Road at 13:15 and helping with a lift assist at 7200 County Road P32 at 14:35. At 16:44, deputies initiated a serious investigation following a reported sexual assault at Highway 133 and County Road P26.

Monday, February 3, 2025
The early hours saw deputies conducting business checks in Arlington (16) and Fort Calhoun (16), responding to a disturbance in Fort Calhoun, and investigating suspicious activity at 18900 County Road P21 where a resident reported garage door disturbance.
