Deputies responded to a smoke incident Monday at 14600 CR 40, with Kennard Fire handling the situation. A disturbance at 7800 CR P29 was mediated later that evening.

Arlington Rescue managed a medical call Tuesday at 23600 Hollow Tree Lane, followed by a Fort Calhoun rescue call later that night. Road hazards kept deputies busy, removing a deceased deer from P43 and corralling a loose cow near CR 38 and CR 41.

Wednesday’s notable incidents included Tracy Bequette’s arrest at Blair Medical Clinic, which led to a related disturbance requiring mediation. Deputies investigated an animal neglect complaint in Fontanelle, finding the dog had proper care and shelter.

Multiple motorist assists marked Thursday’s activities on Highway 133 near CR 36, including a disabled Dodge Charger after a deer strike. Arlington officers investigated two security concerns – possible door tampering and suspected trespassing – though no entries were made in either case.

Early Friday morning, deputies aided a pedestrian traveling from South Sioux City to Omaha, providing transport to Irvington.

Throughout the week, officers maintained school patrols at Arlington and Fort Calhoun schools, with Arlington patrol issuing two speeding citations Tuesday. Nightly business checks showed all establishments secure in both communities.
