Friday, November 29, 2024 The day began with routine business checks in Arlington and Fort Calhoun before transitioning into a series of traffic enforcement actions. Morning brought two driving under suspension arrests: Charles Tucker and Lexi Kendall. The afternoon saw two more significant arrests – Erick Caraveo Gomez for DUS and Jasminn Mack for drug possession charges. Evening quieted with a cancelled assist to Tekamah PD and concluded with an unusual call about an injured goose in Herman, where deputies provided guidance to the concerned owner.
Saturday, November 30, 2024 After overnight business checks, deputies responded to a stove fire at 15700 CR P10, fortunately extinguished before arrival. Afternoon enforcement resulted in Jennifer Severson’s arrest for DUS. Evening brought a unique situation – investigating a reported trespasser at an empty property while the owner monitored from Florida. The night concluded with Muhannad Jimmerson’s arrest on a Douglas County warrant and investigation of reported gunshots near Highway 75.
Sunday, December 1, 2024 Early morning mediation defused a verbal disturbance in Fort Calhoun. A pastoral scene unfolded as deputies assisted with 25-30 wandering cows on Placid Pond Lane. The afternoon saw Brittany Vanderhoff arrested on multiple warrants. A Facebook Marketplace transaction dispute rounded out the day’s notable incidents.
Monday, December 2, 2024 The early morning hours were devoted to routine business checks in Fort Calhoun and Arlington, concluding with highway maintenance removing deceased raccoons from Highway 75.
